Still searching
beautiful surprise
It’s like yesterday
I didn’t even know your name
Now today you’re always on my mind
I never could have predicted that I feel this way
You are a beautiful surprise

Magnum – A Taste for Life
My picture titled ‘I don’t care what the weatherman says’ has been nominated as one of only 10 finalists in Magnums ‘A Taste for Life’ competition which was about capturing life’s rich and intense moments…
Throughout next week my work will be exhibited alongside some of Magnum’s finest work in London’s luxurious Liberty’s. Words can’t describe what this means to me.

Still my sunset

Maybe one day we’ll end up talking again
Maybe one day we’ll go back to being just friends
And even though we didn’t work out together
You’re still my sunset
out of their hands now

As it seems to be virtually impossible to take any street shots that don’t feature people lovingly fondling their ipods, iphones PSPs or frantically chatting away on their mobile phones these days, I can’t help but wonder how the massive change in the way we live, in the way we interact and in the way our society works will shape the face of street photography in the years to come…
life in the not-so-fast lane
